Zip Tie

What are zip ties used for? They’re fasteners that bundle your cables and wires together to keep them organized and prevent damage. They come in different sizes, lengths, materials and even colors. The different uses of cable ties vary across industries, but what they all have in common is that they’re the most effective way to manage your cables.

According to the Federal Code and UL 325, adding a zip tie to your garage door operator is a violation, and so is removing the emergency release device.

If someone recommends altering your garage door opener with a zip tie, READ THEM THE RIOT ACT.

Be sure to check out THE GARAGE SHIELD. It provides an added layer of security as well as peace-of-mind against garage break-ins.
